E-commerce tops 16% of sales for Neiman Marcus in fiscal 2011

Online luxury shoppers or those who aspire to be one helped to drive up web sales at Neiman Marcus Inc. in fiscal 2011.

For the 2011 fiscal year ended July 30, Neiman Marcus, No. 39 in the Internet Retailer Top 500, reported:

Internet Retailer calculates the web accounted for 16.3% of total sales in fiscal 2011 compared with 15.6% in fiscal 2010.

For the fourth quarter:

Internet Retailer calculates the web accounted for 16.9% of total sales in Q4 fiscal 2011 compared with 16.3% in Q4 fiscal 2010.
