SAN FRANCISCO, CA and NOVATO, CA – SEPTEMBER 13, 2005 – Macromedia (NASDAQ: MACR) and Scene7®, today, announced a strategic re-seller and OEM alliance. Under the terms of the agreement, Scene7 will integrate Macromedia’s Flex presentation server into Scene7’s single, integrated platform for rich media, and also become a sales channel for Macromedia Flex worldwide. This new alliance will enable companies to deliver next generation rich Internet applications that drive sales and enhance customer experiences to industries including retail, consumer manufacturing, automotive, media & entertainment, government and non-profit markets.
"Scene7 is a leader in automating rich media, and was an obvious partner to bring Flex-based solutions to the market," said David Mendels, executive vice president and general manager at Macromedia.
