Online party supplies retailer Shindigz has a new CEO.
Dan Haight takes over the top spot at Shindigz, No. 270 in the Internet Retailer 2016 Top 500 Guide, effective immediately. Haight previously held leadership positions with costume and party supplies distributor BuySeasons as well as OfficeMax and Target Corp. (No. 22).
Haight replaces Matt Wojewuczki, who is leaving the company, according to a company representative. Wojewuczki joined Shindigz in October 2013 after nearly a decade with handbag manufacturer and retailer Vera Bradley Retail Stores LLC (No. 233).
“Matt is exploring new opportunities,” the spokeswoman says. “He will not be working with the company.”
According to Top500Guide.com, Shindigz, which launched in 1999, generated an Internet Retailer-estimated $92.0 million in online sales in 2015, up 12% from $82.2 million in 2014. Its shoppers skew heavily female (63.71%).
