E-retailer Edible Arrangements hires a CVS exec as president

Robert Price takes the job as the Top 500 web merchant looks to develop products and expand globally.

Edible Arrangements International LLC has a new president.

Robert Price takes over the job after more than seven years at CVS Caremark Corp., where since December 2006 he was senior vice president and chief marketing officer, according to his LinkedIn profile.

CVS is No. 103 in the Internet Retailer 2014 Top 500 Guide. Edible Arrangements, which sells fresh fruit arranged as flower bouquets, is No. 107.

Edible Arrangements took in an Internet Retailer-estimated $290 million in web sales in 2013, up 12.1% from $258.7 million 2012, according to

The retailer says it looks to Price to help develop products and expand globally.

Before CVS, Price worked as senior vice president, chief marketing officer for U.S.-based grocery chain Wawa Inc. and vice president of marketing for HEB Grocery, a chain in Texas and Mexico.
