Mobile advertising accounts for 76% of that spending as marketers increasingly shift spending to the social network’s mobile ads.
Richard Moore joins Cloggs, which is owned by Top 500 Europe e-retailer J.D. Sports Fashion.
Richard Moore is the new head of e-commerce for U.K. online footwear retailer Cloggs, which is owned by J.D. Sports Fashion Plc, No. 252 in the Internet Retailer Europe Top 500. Moore will head up the e-commerce divisions for all U.K. and international sites.
Moore will also take the lead on marketing strategies to grow the e-retailer’s web site conversion rates and customer retention, the company says.
Before coming to Cloggs, Moore was the head of international markets at U.K. mobile phone accessories e-retailer Mobile Fun, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also held positions at a publishing company and an athletics retailer. Moore replaces Jason Watkins, the interim commercial and e-commerce director.
J.D. Sports Fashion acquired Cloggs in February 2013. In 2012, J.D. Sports did an Internet Retailer-estimated web sales of 43.7 million euros (US$59.8 million).
