Two retailers tied atop Internet Explorer availability tests and L.L. Bean took the Firefox lead.
Overstock.com and Williams-Sonoma.com had the best availability scores for Internet Explorer testing among large retailers tested in March, says Compuware Gomez. The retailers both posted 100% availability in Internet Explorer tests. LLBean.com led Firefox availability tests at 100%.
LLBean.com, Sears.com, and Toysrus.com tied in third place behind Overstock.com and Williams-Sonoma.com in Internet Explorer tests with 99.99% availability.
With a 99.99% availability score for March, Amazon.com, HSN.com and Overstock.com tied in second place in Firefox testing, following LLBean.com. Sears.com came in fifth at 99.98%.
The average Internet Explorer availability score among the 22 retailers measured in March was 99.57%. The same group of retailers produced an average Firefox score of 99.65%.
Availability is determined by the percentage of tests in which the retailer’s web site loads correctly.
