Patricia Perez-Ayala spent two decades at Procter & Gamble Co.
Avon Products Inc., No. 37 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has hired Patricia Perez-Ayala as senior vice president, chief marketing officer, and global brand and category president.
She starts her job Dec. 3 and reports to CEO Sherilyn McCoy, whom Avon appointed to her job earlier this year.
Avon says Perez-Ayala spent 20 years at Procter & Gamble Co., most recently as vice president and general manager for Eastern Europe, based in Russia and leading a unit that included more than 1,000 employees. At Avon, Perez-Ayala duties include supervising global branding and marketing, research and development, and packaging.
“Patricia's proven record of implementing change and driving results makes her the right person to lead Avon's worldwide marketing efforts," says McCoy. "Patricia is a global brand builder with over 20 years of experience, including business strategy, consumer marketing and operations in several of Avon's key markets.”
