Office Depot’s mobile site led iPhone testing across the three major carriers.
Office Depot’s mobile site produced the fastest iPhone access time across three major service providers among large web retailers in July, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, OfficeDepot.com produced an average iPhone mobile response time of 3.43 seconds.
Amazon.com came in second in iPhone testing with 3.73 seconds, followed by Williams-Sonoma.com (5.07 seconds), VictoriasSecret.com (5.10) and HSN.com (5.30).
Gomez measures the average iPhone response time on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Testing for all 19 retailers takes place once per hour per carrier from two U.S. locations (Virginia and California).
Gomez measures response time as the end-to-end time elapsed while downloading each mobile site.
