Vitacost.com Inc. has hired Joseph Topper Jr. as its chief information and technology officer. He replaces Nachiket Desai at the e-retailer of health and wellness products.

Topper comes from language education software provider Rosetta Stone Ltd., where between October 2009 and August 2012 he was senior vice president of customer success, according to his LinkedIn profile. Between 2007 and 2010 he worked as Rosetta Stone’s chief information officer.
