Shipping provider Newgistics buys AtLast Fulfillment

The former AtLast CEO now will focus on e-commerce for Newgistics.

Shipping services provider Newgistics Inc. has bought AtLast Fulfillment, a Colorado-based firm that sells fulfillment and warehousing services. Newgistics, based in Texas, did not say how much it paid for the company.

Newgistics helps web retailers ship products, manage returns and perform other fulfillment tasks. The acquisition enables Newgistics to expand its services. The company says that AtLast Fulfillment CEO Ted Tanner will join Newgistics as vice president of e-commerce business development.

“AtLast Fulfillment and Newgistics share a focus on innovating technology-driven solutions to achieve one main goal: helping our customers provide a positive shopping experience for their customers,” says Bill Razzouk, chairman and CEO of Newgistics. “We are confident the acquisition of AtLast will increase the breadth and quality of services offered to e-retailers and direct-to-consumer merchants and brands.”
