New York – 10 April, 2012 – Clash Media Mobile, the leading mobile-specific direct response advertising agency, has announced the appointment of Tore Erickson as Vice President of Sales and Operations. The appointment follows Clash Media's announcement of a major new move into the mobile advertising sector and in his new position, Erickson will put in place a target-driven sales strategy to drive growth across the US mobile advertising sector with particular emphasis on insurance, education and financial services.
Prior to this appointment, Erickson has held highly successful senior management roles at leading Lead Generation companies including Winster Inc as VP of Advertising Sales and at Permission Data as Director of Sales and Account Services. His vertical market credentials include successfully penetrating new verticals, including online social gaming and the higher education sector – a market where Clash Media is particularly strong. He had earlier pioneered the Prism lead generation program at Princeton Review which created new revenue opportunities from Universities, Colleges, Military and Corporations. During the first year of launching he delivered $15 million in lead generation revenue.
