Search engines and other e-retailers lose share as shoppers increasingly turn to Amazon for product searches, a Bloomreach survey finds.
Amazon’s m-commerce site led iPhone response time testing across all carriers.
Amazon’s mobile site produced the fastest iPhone access time across all service providers among large web retailers in January, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, Amazon.com produced an average iPhone mobile response time of 2.60 seconds.
M.Sears.com came in second for iPhone testing with 3.18 seconds, followed by LLBean.com (4.30 seconds), Dell.com (4.57) and Newegg.com (4.62).
Gomez measures the average iPhone response time for the three major service carriers: AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Testing for each of 20 retailers takes place once per hour, per carrier from two U.S. locations (Virginia and California).
