QVC’s m-commerce site also led mobile response time testing for two other devices.
QVC’s mobile site, m.QVC.com, produced the fastest iPhone access time among large web retailers in October, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, m.QVC.com produced an average iPhone mobile response time of 2.41 seconds.
M.Sears.com came in second for iPhone testing with 2.86 seconds, followed by Newegg.com (3.05 seconds), Dell.com (3.34) and Amazon.com (3.85).
QVC’s mobile site also led in response time tests for two other mobile devices measured by Gomez last month: T-Mobile’s HTC Dream (2.63 seconds) and Verizon’s Droid (2.07 seconds). Sears’ mobile site finished first in testing for the HTC Hero (2.60 seconds) and placed second in Droid testing (2.66 seconds). M.Newegg.com came in second for testing on HTC’s Dream (4.25 seconds).
Gomez measures response time as the end-to-end time elapsed while downloading each mobile site.
