Search engines and other e-retailers lose share as shoppers increasingly turn to Amazon for product searches, a Bloomreach survey finds.
ClickEquations focuses on large advertisers and search agencies.
Channel Intelligence Inc. says it has acquired ClickEquations Inc., a paid search platform provider. Channel Intelligence did not say how much it paid for the firm.
The five year-old ClickEquations sells paid search management, bidding and reporting tools designed for large advertisers and search agencies that spend $25,000 or more monthly on paid search, Channel Intelligence says. Clients include gift and craft e-retailer Uncommon Goods and cable provider Comcast Corp.
Channel Intelligence, which provides online marketing and e-commerce services to retailers and manufacturers, including 21 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, says the acquisition will help it expand its CI Product Search paid search marketing service.
