Sneakpeeq is a privately held social shopping company based in San Francisco.

NEW YORK, May 23, 2011 – sneakpeeq, a social shopping company that brings the benefits of the in-store shopping experience to the online world, today unveiled its new Facebook boutique application at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in NYC. sneakpeeq, which has partnerships with more than 130 premium brands including Lucky Brand Jeans, Nicole Miller and Halston Heritage, lets you shop for in-season, premium lifestyle products and experiences, discover new must-haves by seeing what your friends are browsing, find fabulous deals, earn points for reward benefits, and enjoy a bit of online gaming while you shop.  The app is available immediately by going to and signing up through Facebook Connect, or by clicking here

“True Religion fans are loving the sneakpeeq app on Facebook and we are thrilled to offer a fun new way for consumers to experience the True Religion brand online,” said Ben Lau, Manager of e-Commerce at True Religion. “sneakpeeq’s innovative approach is driving real sales and customer engagement on a new channel for True Religion and we’re looking forward to working even more closely with them in the near future.”

sneakpeeq features fabulous products and experiences from today’s most coveted brands and designers, including high-end fashion apparel and accessories, gourmet food items, upscale hotel stays and premium cosmetics. You can shop for in-season apparel and accessories from designer brands including Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer, Michael Stars and C.C. Skye, get your makeup fix with Laura Gellar cosmetics, and satisfy your sweet tooth with gourmet chocolates from Richart and Droga, and more.

 How to start peeqing

Make online shopping fun again and download the sneakpeeq app on Facebook. Here’s how it works:

  • Social peeqing: Sign up for sneakpeeq via Facebook Connect and immediately discover fabulous new and in-season finds in fashion, cosmetics and more and share your discoveries with your friends.
  • The peeqing game: Click the peeq button when a particular item catches your eye to reveal a new low price. Each time a person clicks on the peeq button the price goes down, so the more you and your friends peeq, the better your chances of scoring a fantastic deal. You get 15 seconds to decide if you want to purchase your sneakpeeq find and can see who else is looking at that item via live updates.
  • Peeq rewards: As soon as you sign up for sneakpeeq you get 10 peeqs to use towards a peeq purchase. sneakpeeqers get 10 peeq points daily and they last for 24 hours. The more friends you get on sneakpeeq and the more you peeq for yourself, the higher your status. The status level you achieve on sneakpeeq determines the number of additional peeqs you get plus access to exclusive products, fee shipping and more.

“Today, online shopping is boring and task driven – a means of finding the best price for items you need or want,” said Henry Kim, president and co-founder of sneakpeeq. “sneakpeeq is bringing the fun back to online shopping by adding a hint of social gaming to the combined in-store and online experience we provide, and making it easier for consumers to discover hot new items, show them off to friends and enjoy exclusive deals and rewards.”

sneakpeeq will soon be available on the iOS and Android platforms as well, so stay tuned!
