The e-mail marketing vendor promotes Jeff Newlin from his previous job overseeing global sales.
E-mail marketing technology vendor Silverpop Systems Inc. has promoted Jeff Newlin to chief revenue officer and senior vice president of global sales. He had spent the past nine years as senior vice president of global sales and client services.
"Jeff has been a critical member of the core leadership team at Silverpop for most of its 11-year history," says CEO Bill Nussey. "His promotion to a C-level officer reflects his unique contributions within the company and his tireless efforts to constantly improve the success of our customers around the world."
Silverpop credits Newlin with helping the company to add more new customers in the third quarter than all the new customers added in 2009, and making international the fastest-growing segment of Silverpop's revenue.
In his new job, Newlin will oversee business sales, customer renewals, partnerships and alliances, international operations and demand-generation efforts.
"Over the past nine years, we have established a highly successfully global direct sales model,” Newlin says. “Though this remains the core of Silverpop's distribution model, the opportunity to increase our reach through both domestic and international partners has never been better as we accelerate the growth of our worldwide customer base at a record pace in 2010 and into the future."
