Paid clicks on ads across Google-owned sites and its advertising network jumped 33% during the quarter.
The company also has hired new marketing and sales employees.
Marketing analytics and database marketing provider Alliant Cooperative Data Solutions LLC has chosen Christine Pelczar to fill the newly created position of director of sales.
In her new role, Pelczar will work to expand Alliant’s reach into the insurance, general merchandise and sweepstakes markets.
Pelczar has 20 years’ experience in marketing services sales and was most recently vice president of business development for affiliate network Modern Vision Media. She has also held a post at web site development and Internet marketing firm Vision Marketing.
Pelczar will join the sales team led by Donna Hamilton, vice president of sales and business development.
“We were very fortunate to find a sales professional with the scope of experience Chris offers,” Hamilton says. “Alliant’s sales process is very consultative and requires a broad understanding of marketing economics and multichannel optimization. Clients and prospects demand insight from their service providers and Chris has unique talent for identifying optimization opportunities.”
In addition to Pelczar, Alliant has also hired new staff for its marketing and sales teams. Recent college graduates Kira Dembeck and Megan Ford have joined Alliant. Dembeck will be responsible for development and deployment of marketing outreach programs. Ford will assist in the development and fulfillment of business opportunities with new and existing clients.
