Local.com Corp., which operates a search network that focuses on local results, has appointed Eileen Licitra as vice president, product management. She will report to Mike Plonski, Local.com’s chief technology officer.
“Eileen brings a wealth of valuable leadership, product experience and strategic insight, including a proven track record to the Local.com team,” Plonski says. “We are pleased to bring her aboard during such an exciting time and look forward to her contribution to the company’s future growth, as we develop our product portfolio across our three business units.”
Licitra had worked as vice president of product management for MediaSpan Online Services, an online marketing firm. She oversaw such areas as product strategy and planning, online content management and database marketing.
Licitra also worked at newspaper company Freedom Communications, Inc, where her jobs included director of multimedia product management.
Local.com provides search results for local businesses, products and services on Local.com and more than 800 partner sites. The company recently raised its revenue forecast for the full year, and expects to take in between $87 million and $90 million, up from its previous projection of $81 million to $84 million.
