Southern Fulfillment Services buys Gift Baskets Remembered

The Internet and mail order fulfillment company has bought Gift Baskets Remembered, an online gift basket retailer.

Internet and mail order fulfillment company Southern Fulfillment Services LLC has bought Gift Baskets Remembered, an online retailer that sells gift baskets. Financial details were not disclosed.

The acquisition makes Southern Fulfillment parent to eight online retail sites that sell gifts, food or related products, says a company spokesman. The company also owns such gift brands as Hales Groves, Pittman & Davis and Eilenberger Bakery.

“With the spring holidays and impending graduations upon us, we’re thrilled to have Gift Baskets Remembered join our family of brands,” says Bob Daberkow, Southern Fulfillment’s vice president of business intelligence. “The companies’ complementary products and services provide us with the opportunity to offer the industry’s most comprehensive range of gift-giving services to our corporate and consumer client base.”

Gift Baskets Remembered sells more than 800 types of gift baskets.
