Online sales for J.Jill are growing and hit $228 million for the 12 months ended Oct. 29.
The women’s clothing retailer named Lizanne Kindler executive vice president and general merchandise manager. She’ll oversee the merchandise strategy for Talbots’ apparel, shoe and accessories businesses across all channels.
Women’s clothing retailer The Talbots Inc. has promoted Lizanne Kindler from senior vice president of merchandising and general merchandise manager to executive vice president and general merchandise manager. She will report to CEO Trudy Sullivan.
She’ll oversee the merchandise strategy for Talbots’ apparel, shoe and accessories businesses across all channels, including its e-commerce site Talbots.com.
Prior to joining Talbots in 2008, Kindler worked as senior vice president and general merchandise manager of Ann Taylor Loft.
“Since joining Talbots two years ago, Lizanne’s leadership skills, vision for the brand’s potential and empathy for our customer’s point of view have made a significant impact to our organization,” says Sullivan. “She has been instrumental in the re-imagination of our merchandising strategy and merchant team, and I am confident that she will continue to elevate our brand and product offering.”
