Ohana Companies appoints a director of product management

Ohana Companies, a provider of online loyalty programs, has named marketing veteran Prasanth Menon director of product management.

Ohana Companies, a provider of online loyalty programs, has named marketing veteran Prasanth Menon director of product management.

Ohana offers an online method of redeeming, validating and fulfilling rebates offered by retailers. The service allows retailers to offer an online alternative to mail-in rebate programs, Ohana says.

“Prasanth brings his own unique analytical background and global perspective to our Ohana family as we continue to revolutionize business with the next generation of rebates, delivering low-cost, high-impact loyalty programs and providing a technology platform that opens incremental sales opportunities,” says founder and CEO Chris Quinlan.

Menon most recently was vice president for strategy and innovation at Bank of America, where he was responsible for product strategy in the credit card services unit.

Earlier in his career, Menon worked as a consultant to the consumer goods industry at consulting firm Booz & Co. (formerly known as Booz Allen Hamilton), where he managed product strategy for Fortune 100 companies. He also was an assistant vice president at Calyon Corporate & Investment Bank in Mumbai, India.
