Avon had the best backbone response time in March

Avon.com generated a broadband Internet backbone response time of 1.09 seconds, to lead all top 50 e-retailers, according to Gomez Inc.

In March, Avon.com generated a broadband Internet backbone response time of 1.09 seconds, to lead all top 50 e-retailers, according to measurements from Gomez Inc.

Gomez analyzed availability and response time from the Internet’s distribution network, or backbone, which is another way for retailers to monitor web site performance.

Avon was followed by Newegg.com at 1.17 seconds, QVC.com at 1.23 seconds, and LLBean.com at 1.24 seconds.
