The search giant today rolled out new ways for marketers to understand the in-store impact of their ads.
Cooking.com has hired Joseph Tripp, an 11-year veteran of interactive ad sales, as vice president of advertising sales. He will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for ads at Cooking.com.

He will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for ads at Cooking.com. “In addition to an award-winning shopping site, Cooking.com continues to create depth and breadth through rich content segments creating a compelling story for our advertisers,” Tripp says. “I am excited about the potential for growth."
Tripp, with 11 years of online advertising sales experience, most recently was vice president of sales with LifeScript, a women’s health and fitness site where he grew agency business primarily within the consumer packaged goods category. Before that, he led interactive sales with the The Los Angeles Newspaper Group`s Interactive division for six years.
Cooking.com operates five branded web sites: Cooking.com, FoodNetworkStore.com, StarbucksStore.com, PillsburyStore.com and BettyCrockerStore.com. Investors include Azure Capital Partners, Idealab, Clearstone Venture Partners, Starbucks Corp. and ORIX Venture Finance.
