JD.com and Alibaba create indexes to identify Chinese shoppers’ spending trends, which help retailers gain insight.
The electronics merchant has enabled customers to shop more than 50,000 products anywhere, anytime using any web-enabled mobile phone.
Electronics retailer pcRUSH.com has joined the growing number of merchants with an m-commerce site. The web-only retailer has used the popular “m” URL naming convention to launch its site, m.pcRUSH.com.

The e-retailer, No. 249 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, is using m-commerce technology from CardinalCommerce Corp. The technology, Cardinal Max, offers a mobile platform that includes navigation, search and secure checkout. The mobile site is accessible via any mobile device with access to the web.
The mobile platform exchanges product and other data with pcRUSH.com’s e-commerce systems to ensure accurate price and availability on more than 50,000 products. The platform enables PayPal Mobile Checkout, Google Checkout for Mobile and credit card payment options. Personal and financial information is encrypted.
