Internet Retailer said today the Exhibit Hall at its Internet Retailer 2008 Conference & Exhibition June 9-12 in Chicago is sold out. 313 e-commerce solution providers have purchased the equivalent of 447 10’x10’ booths—33% growth from IRCE 2007.

The publisher confirmed that a total of 313 e-commerce solution providers have purchased the equivalent of 447 10’x10’ booths at IRCE 2008-an increase of 33% from IRCE 2007.
“This further solidifies IRCE’s standing as the world’s largest exhibition of e-retailing solutions,” says Jack Love, publisher of Internet Retailer. “Once again this year, the number of vendors exhibiting at IRCE will exceed the total number of exhibitors at all other e-retailing events combined.”
The fourth annual Internet Retailer 2008 Conference & Exhibition will be held at the brand new McCormick Place West, which opened last August as the latest expansion of the McCormick Center campus, the country’s largest exhibition center. Located just eight minutes from downtown Chicago, McCormick West is a state-of-the-art convention facility that allows Internet Retailer to hold all IRCE events on a single floor.
All conference sessions will be held in the 100,000-square-foot ballroom, which will be divided into three sections to house the morning general sessions, three afternoon session tracks and three day-long workshops. Directly across the concourse from the ballroom is the 130,000 square-foot IRCE 2008 Exhibit Hall and another 100,000 square feet of space where attendees will be seated for lunches during the show.
The Exhibit Hall will feature solutions and services in more than 50 separate segments of the e-retailing solutions market, including search engine marketing and optimization, e-commerce platforms, site search, web analytics and performance monitoring, e-mail marketing, rich media and content management, e-payment processing, web design and hosting, mobile commerce solutions, order fulfillment and package delivery. It will contain vendors who focus on small, medium or large firms.
“The exhibit hall at IRCE 2008 features every e-retailing solution under the sun, and offers something for every e-retailing business no matter what its size and level of sophistication,” says Love, adding that more than 60% of all companies listed in the Internet Retailer Guide to E-Commerce Technology will have exhibits at IRCE 2008. “If you’re in the market for e-retailing solutions to improve your web site’s performance, IRCE is where the market will be for four days in June.”
