Sears appoints Louis Ramery to head up customer relationship management

Ramery will be responsible for Sears’ and Kmart’s relationship marketing strategies and programs.

Sears Holdings Corp. is adding to the ranks of senior marketing management.

Sears, No. 7 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has named Louis Ramery as senior vice president, customer relationship management. Ramery, who will report to chief marketing officer Maureen McGuire, will have overall responsibilities for developing and executing Sears’ and Kmart’s relationship marketing strategies and programs.

Prior to joining Sears, Ramery was with interactive marketing agency Digitas as the executive in charge of global marketing. Ramery also has worked as executive vice president, marketing and planning for Brierley & Partners, a loyalty marketing agency, and in various other senior marketing and strategic planning positions. He served as vice president of marketing for PepsiCo Food Systems Worldwide and as a Continental Airlines regional vice president.

Ramery has a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a master’s in business administration from Golden Gate University.
