Indigo Books & Music Inc. posted fiscal year 2007 web sales in U.S. dollars of $80.9 million from $74.1 million in fiscal 2006. The Internet accounted for 10% of total revenue last year in U.S. dollars and 9% in Canadian dollars.

Indigo, No. 140 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, posted FY 2007 web sales in U.S. dollars of $80.9 million, up from $74.1 million in fiscal 2006.

Overall fiscal 2007 revenue in U.S. dollars rose by 2.9% to $816.2 million from $794.5 million. In Canadian dollars, Indigo reported fiscal 2007 e-commerce sales of $86.7 million and total revenue of $875 million. "This is a significant achievement considering the meaningful decrease in book prices and the absence of any strong hits during the important holiday season,” says Indigo CEO Heather Reisman.

In U.S. dollars the web accounted for 10% of total revenue and 9% in Canadian dollars.

John Rocco, director of kiosks, Indigo Books & Music, will speak at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition, June 4-7 in San Jose, in a session titled The Web-Centric Store of the Future.
