YouTube’s unique monthly audience grew to 19.6 million in June from 4.9 million in January. The number of pages viewed grew even faster, increasing 515%, from 11.8 million in January to 72.4 million in June. Average time spent on the site grew 64% from 17 minutes 22 seconds to 27 minutes 58 seconds.
Men are 20% more likely to visit YouTube than women, with unique audience composition indexes of 113 and 88. 100 represents the average web site audience composition. The 12-to-17-year-old group has the highest representation on the site, with an index of 142.
