Online spending experiences another robust week

Online retail spending grew 37% to $1.12 billion for the week ending April 4 from the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

 

Online retail spending grew 37% to $1.12 billion for the week ending April 4 from the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports. It was the 13th consecutive week of $1 billion-plus in online sales.

 

Total retail sales for the week were up 0.3% from the year-earlier week, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

 

Online travel sales for the week ending April 4 reached $1.08 billion, up 44% from $750 million a year ago, comScore reports.
