Continuing its merchandising developments on its other foreign sites as well as in the U.S., Amazon.com Inc. has launched a Home & Kitchen store on its Japanese-language web site, Amazon.co.jp. The launch is almost simultaneous with a launch of an Amazon Marketplace at Amazon.ca, the Canadian site.
Offering more than 100 brands, the new online store sells products ranging from home appliances and kitchen utensils to health-and-beauty products. Brands include Japan-based Zojirushi cookware as well as Henckels cutlery and Braun personal care products.
Amazon.co.jp also provides search and navigation functions that let shoppers look for products by category or manufacturer.
Amazon also offers home and kitchen products on its French-language Amazon.fr, German-language Amazon.de, the United Kingdom’s Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca as well as on Amazon.com.
