Online marketing company MindArrow has signed a letter of intent to acquire Radical Mail, a privately held, rich-media software solutions company.
Aliso Viejo, CA-based MindArrow Systems Inc. plans to acquire Radical Communication, a competing online marketer that suspended operations due to lack of funding in May. MindArrow, a provider of direct digital marketing software and services, says the acquisition would enhance the company’s rich media software capabilities. Radical Communication, best known for its Radical Mail rich media e-mail product, has developed an interactive e-mail platform that allows customers to develop, distribute and manage more effective rich media communications. RadicalMail allows for streaming audio and video, secure transactional capabilities and enhanced forwarding functionality. The combined company will have a customer base of more than 200 companies and more than 20 channel partners, including several leading advertising agencies and marketing services firms.
