Beyond.com, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based builder, manager and marketer of online stores, has launched an e-store for Sybex Inc., an independent computer book publisher. The e-store will feature sales and physical product distribution for traditional online purchases, plus another means of product distribution – a unique interactive subscription feature that that lets Sybex customers access certification-related web-based training and testing services online. Sybex, with offices in the United States and he United Kingdom, is recognized as an industry leader in computer training and certification. “This agreement further demonstrates Beyond.com’s ability to provide unique, customized e-store features and functionality for a wide variety of businesses that sell products online,” says Ron Hulse, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Beyond.com.
