CD Now is planning to discontinue its Fast Forward Rewards program at the end of September. The site is informing customers that it’s making way for “bigger and better features” in the future. In the Fast Forward Rewards program, customers earn 10 points for every dollar they spend. Customers can redeem points for CDs, VHS tapes and DVDs through the rewards section of the site. Points are applied to the customer’s shopping cart when he or she checks out. Customers can still earn points up until the September deadline but they must redeem points before the deadline. CD Now did not comment.
