The Sharper Image, a leader in online retailing, today launched a US web site in Spanish with prices denominated in US dollars. The Sharper Image says it is hoping to tap into the US Spanish-speaking market of 33 million consumers. The Sharper Image will market the site in New York, Miami, Houston and California. It will feature 125 products.
Shoppers who go to www.sharperimage.com are met with a number of language choices, including "U.S. Espanol" with an American flag and a dollar sign.
