Brian has 15 years of experience in IT as an advisor, strategist, architect, and manager. As an analyst, he is the lead for Forrester's emerging technology playbook, is co-lead on the data management playbook, publishes our annual top technologies to watch report, and has authored several groundbreaking pieces on big data. He has helped numerous clients develop their technology watchlists, evolve their architecture practices, and develop strategic approaches to hot topics like big data, business intelligence, and data management.
Before joining Forrester, he worked in the financial services and defense industries, where he acted as principal architect for information management technology; overhauled enterprise architecture practices, processes, and governance; and advised executives on emerging technologies.
Brian holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University (1989).

He uses his experience in Commerce and his own retail stores to communicate the value omni-channel commerce brings to customer engagement. Victoria Markley is Director of Strategy and Operations at Gorilla Group, and has been partnering with clients for more than 15 years to define comprehensive strategic approaches that help them realize their visions for long-term digital transformation. She is also responsible for evolving Gorilla’s methodology and operational process to foster more productive and efficient client relationships. Her role—spanning development, program management and solutions architecture—has provided her broad expertise across the complex delivery life-cycle bridging present to future state and aligning ecommerce solutions with critical business needs.
As co-founder and chief strategy officer of Tacit Knowledge, which was established in 2002, Chris Andrasick has worked on digital initiatives with retailers such as Converse, Kodak, Barnes and Noble, Sony, Macys, Sephora, The Body Shop and Gap. Using the hybris commerce platform, Tacit works with retailers and brands around the world to help build and implement their ecommerce websites.
Chris has spoken on topics such as online privacy, analytics, clickstream behavior in Web applications, XML use in systems integration, Web 2.0 strategies, social networks, and best practices in Agile development.
He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder that he’s never really applied to anything beyond rocket-scientist jokes.
