Inuvo and Extrabux.com Deliver Custom Shopping Experience to Online Publishers

The companies create a comparison shopping API with integrated cash back and coupon discounts for users.

Clearwater, FL, October 20, 2010 - Inuvo®, Inc. (NYSE Amex: INUV), an online technology and services company, announced today that it has partnered with Extrabux, Inc. to create a comparison shopping API with integrated cash back and coupon discounts for users. The application will be available to web publishers and mobile application developers. Inuvo will focus on technical integration and sales of the API-based service, dubbed BargainMatch™. With two publishers already signed, BargainMatch is now market ready.

BargainMatch is the second application built around the Inuvo Platform, the central data hub for Inuvo’s products and services. The application will allow publishers to build around the API, or utilize a private-labeled template that Inuvo provides. In both cases, the objective is to deliver an integrated shopping comparison experience to users. Consumers may shop within this custom portal to access coupons and receive up to 30 percent cash back on purchases made at over 1,600 of the web’s top merchants.

“BargainMatch is a no-brainer for publishers with a large member base and a focus on loyalty and engagement,” explained Jeremy Chrysler, senior vice president of the Inuvo Exchange segment. “Not only does it create the opportunity to increase traffic to the publisher’s website, it actually becomes a source of recurring revenue with a commission paid for every purchase made through the site.”

In addition, BargainMatch partners may customize their implementations to offer their own customers various rewards incentives in addition to just cash back. “We designed the API to give partners maximum flexibility,” continued Chrysler. “An airline partner might pay users in airline miles; a not-for-profit might allow its supporters to donate the cash to their cause.  It was important that the technology allow for custom experiences for each partner so they can maximize the incentive for their users.”

Extrabux sees the partnership with Inuvo as an excellent way to extend the reach of their superior product offering.

“We are thrilled to be working with Inuvo to deliver the Extrabux shopping technology to online publishers,” explained Jeff Nobbs, co-founder of Extrabux.  “We integrated comparison shopping, cash-back rewards and online coupons to build a solution that finds consumers the absolute best price on millions of products from thousands of the most popular online stores.  By partnering with Inuvo and other publishers with an established member base, we are able to bring our money-saving solution to more consumers at a time when finding the best deal and saving money is definitely top-of-mind.”

BargainMatch is ready to hit the market, making its debut this week on the Inuvo-owned and operated comparison shopping site, www.bargainmatch.com. This debut launch will be followed by the BargainMatch integration on several Partner properties, including the recently revamped www.babytobee.com, another Inuvo web property targeting the pre and postnatal mother market.
