Consumers Continue to Adopt NearbyNow’s ‘Online Browsing-In Store Buying’
Los Altos, Calif. – June 27, 2007– NearbyNow, Inc. today announced the company’s popular search service designed for shopping centers and retailers has reached an important corporate milestone with the launch of the service in its fiftieth shopping center – Westfield Annapolis in Annapolis, MD. NearbyNow’s proprietary service allows consumers to find any product, brand or sale currently available at their local shopping mall using the Internet or mobile phones. In the last three months, the company has more than doubled the number of shopping centers live with the service and is on track to have a presence in over 100 US cities by the 2007 holiday season. By making malls searchable from home (using the Internet) and while shopping (using mobile phones), the service will reach over 60% of U.S.-based shoppers by November, 2007.
