CDW Corp. is promoting four executives to senior vice president, including CIO Jonathan J. Stevens, who oversees e-commerce, and Paul A. Shain, the CEO of Berbee Information Networks Corp., which CDW acquired in October.

CDW Corp. is promoting four executives to senior vice president, including chief information officer Jonathan J. Stevens, who oversees e-commerce, and Paul A. Shain, the CEO of Berbee Information Networks Corp., which CDW acquired in October.
Stevens is responsible for the strategic direction of CDW’s information technology and e-commerce initiatives, including content development, online marketing and e-procurement.
Stevens joined CDW in 2001 as vice president of information technology and was named vice president and chief information officer in 2002. From 2005 to 2006, Stevens also served as general manager of CDW’s Canada operation. Previously, Stevens served as regional technology director for Avanade, an international integration company formed as a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture. Before Avanade, Stevens was a principal with Microsoft Consulting Services and led an information technology group for a corporate division of AT&T;/NCR.
As a newly appointed senior vice president, Shain continues to be responsible for leading the Berbee business unit and jointly overseeing all aspects of the transition of Berbee into CDW. Shain joined Berbee in 2000 as president and was appointed CEO in 2005. Prior to joining Berbee, Shain was managing director and director of research for Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc. At Baird, he was the senior information technology services analyst and was responsible for the overall supervision and administration of Baird`s equity research efforts.
Shain serves on the executive partner councils for both IBM and Cisco Systems. As a unit of CDW, No. 8 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, Berbee provides information technology and hosting services to a number of web and multi-channel retailers and consumer brand manufacturers, including Drs. Foster & Smith Inc., Jockey International Inc. and Musicnotes Inc.
CDW also appointed Dennis G. Berger, chief co-worker services officer, and Christine A. Leahy, general counsel and corporate secretary, as senior vice presidents
