REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. - (February 8, 2005) - Shutterfly (www.shutterfly.com), the leading independent online photo service, today announced that Pat House, Cofounder and Vice Chairman of Siebel Systems and Jim White, Sutter Hill Ventures Managing Director, have joined the Shutterfly Board of Directors.

Ms. House co-founded Siebel Systems in 1993 and has served in senior executive positions in some of Silicon Valley’s most prestigious companies including Oracle Corporation, Verbatim Corporation and Frame Technology Corporation. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Levi Strauss & Co. and BDNA Corporation. A frequent industry spokesperson and a guest professor at Stanford University, Pat is the co-author of the business best-seller Cyber Rules, published by Doubleday. Ms. House has been named one of Fortune’s 50 Most Powerful Women and the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs. Pat received a B.A. in Education from Western Michigan University.

White has held senior executive positions at Macromedia, SGI and Hewlett-Packard. Jim received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Sutter Hill Ventures is an investor in Shutterfly along with other top tier investors such as Jim Clark, Mohr, Davidow Ventures and Adobe Ventures.
