Coremetrics to Track and Analyze ROI from Commission Junction`s Marketing Campaigns in a Single Interface
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--Sept. 9, 2004-- ValueClick, Inc.`s (Nasdaq:VCLK) Commission Junction, a provider of advanced online performance marketing solutions, announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with Coremetrics, a leading provider of hosted Web analytics solutions, to offer their joint clients a fully integrated solution for managing and measuring the performance of their online marketing programs. The alliance further demonstrates Commission Junction`s commitment to providing its clients with advanced solutions to drive success in their online businesses through both proprietary technology and partnerships with other best-of-breed solution providers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Coremetrics will track and measure the performance of Commission Junction`s marketing programs through Coremetrics` Marketing Management Center (MMC), the industry`s ground-breaking online marketing solution that presents a ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns in a single interface. This alliance offers Commission Junction and Coremetrics` joint clients a consolidated view of all of their performance-based marketing programs.
"Online marketing solution providers often use different metrics for measuring campaigns, and it`s very difficult for marketers to compare ROI across the board," said John Squire, vice president of business development at Coremetrics. "By providing the only solution that uses standard metrics to analyze the results of all online marketing programs, Coremetrics eliminates many of the complexities associated with managing multiple campaigns."
According to the June 2004 Forrester Research report, "What Matters to Web Site Analytics Users," Web analytics packages have shifted from being reporters of traffic to being an integral and essential part of marketing operations. Integrated data collection through alliances, such as that between Commission Junction and Coremetrics, along with customized reporting capabilities, are making it easier for marketers to adjust the performance and optimize the spending of their multi-channel marketing campaigns.
"The ability to compare performance across not only Commission Junction`s marketing solutions but other online marketing channels as well is a key value-add for our joint clients," said Jeff Pullen, general manager of Commission Junction. "This integrated view allows our clients to sort and analyze performance and customer-behavior data from their various campaigns and make critical decisions to improve the overall effectiveness of their online marketing efforts."
