Pro Golf International / ProGolf.com & Global Sports Enter E-commerce Agreement

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. & KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-- Oct. 18, 2001--Global Sports, Inc. (NASDAQ:GSPT), a leading outsource solution provider for e-commerce, and Pro Golf International, Inc./ ProGolf.com, a subsidiary of Ajay Sports, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AJAY), and the online distribution channel for Pro Golf of America, Inc., the world`s largest franchised golf retailer of golf equipment, apparel, brand name golf footwear and branded and private label golf merchandise, announced today that Global Sports has been selected to develop and operate the e-commerce golf store at www.progolf.com.

Global Sports` will utilize its scalable e-commerce solution to develop and operate all aspects of the new e-commerce store, including Web site design, customer service, fulfillment, and merchandising. Pro Golf of America ("PGOA")/Pro Golf.com had previously operated an e-commerce store utilizing internal resources. The agreement enables PGOA to remain focused on growing its successful franchise retail business, while maintaining a significant presence in online retailing of golf products. The new e-commerce store will feature an extensive selection of golf equipment, apparel, footwear, and branded and private label merchandise.
