NASCAR.com will re-launch

NASCAR.com, the retailing site for car racing enthusiasts, will re-launch this month under the direction of Turner Sports Interactive. USA Networks Inc.'s Electronic Commerce Solutions division will work exclusively with Styleclick, the USAi majority-owned e-commerce enabler, to build, design and merchandise the new NASCAR online store. ECS will provide integrated marketing, database-driven offers, catalog development, and promotions. NASCAR.com will be re-launched prior to the start of the Daytona 500 race and festivities.
-- Styleclick will provide the technologies and e-commerce-driven infrastructure to build, design, manage sales and inventory and host the NASCAR online store.
-- ECS will leverage the fulfillment expertise of HSN-the Home Shopping Network-to manage package delivery.
-- ECS Database Marketing, together with Turner Sports Interactive, will develop a comprehensive fan database, generated by the NASCAR online store for use in marketing and fan activities.
-- ECS will develop and produce NASCAR.com catalogs featuring NASCAR related merchandise.
-- ECS will provide customer service online at NASCAR.com and over the telephone.
-- ECS Merchandising and Styleclick will jointly develop the NASCAR online store merchandising strategy.
