The e-retailer brings custom tailoring to online fashion by offering alterations on dresses, tops and bottoms for sizes 0-36W. For $7.50 per item, shoppers can customize all apparel on the site based on measurements—extensive instructions are provided—and slight style changes like changing a short-sleeved dress to long sleeves. Apparel is stitched in, and shipped from, India. Consumers, who get their custom-fit apparel in about two weeks, are encouraged to tag photos of themselves wearing their togs shared on Instagram and Twitter with #eShakti, which eShakti then pulls in to feature across the site.
