Digital marketing technology firm BrightTag has hired Joe Stanhope as senior vice president of marketing.
The firm’s technology is designed to enable retailers to collect web and mobile data and use it to enhance marketing campaigns. Stanhope most recently worked as chief strategy officer for customer experience management company SDL plc, a job he took in March 2013, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he covered cross-channel marketing at Forrester Research Inc., holding the title of principal analyst when he left. Forrester hired him in January 2010. He also worked as a senior product manager at digital marketing firm Experian.
His new job gives him oversight of BrightTag marketing.
