Williams-Sonoma’s mobile commerce site ranked first last month in overall mobile performance among large retailers.
Williams-Sonoma’s mobile site, QVC.com, finished with the best composite score among large web retailers for mobile performance in June, says Compuware Gomez. Gomez tests 20 large retailers every month for mobile response time, availability and consistency on Apple’s iPhone for three different mobile carriers: AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
Last month, Williams-Sonoma.com produced an average mobile response time of 5.10 seconds, an availability score of 99.22% and an average consistency score of 6.79 seconds, giving the retailer the best average across all three carriers for the three statistics.
Blockbuster’s mobile site finished second in the rankings with an average response time of 4.75 seconds, an availability score of 98.17% and an average consistency score of 6.47 seconds. Rakuten.com was third in the June rankings with an average response time of 5.15 seconds, an availability score of 99.11% and an average consistency score of 7.25 seconds. BarnesandNoble.com and Amazon.com rounded out the top 5.
