Chemist Direct Goes Live on FusePump’s Multichannel Platform

The platform presents data in a simple-to-use dashboard and marketers can then take this information and use it to optimise their product marketing.

E-commerce marketing technology company FusePump has launched its new e-commerce marketing platform. The Multi-Channel Marketing Platform allows merchants to optimise their marketing activity across various online channels, offering ‘actionable insight’ and the ability to drill down to product attribute level.

The platform presents data in a simple-to-use dashboard and marketers can then take this information and use it to optimise their product marketing, leading to improved channel sales. For example, if certain products have a high click-through rate, but are not converting, they can be easily edited or removed using the e-commerce platform.

Sam Hodges, Head of Client Services at FusePump, explains what the launch of the Multi-Channel Marketing Platform (MCMP) means for FusePump clients.

“The FusePump MCMP is an innovative technology platform that will allow our clients to optimise their traffic from technology partners, based on the data that our real-time reporting platform displays. It gives marketers the ability to drill down into their data and analyse trends across the various channels. It is also possible to create business rules directly, giving marketers more direct control of their product data and online campaigns.”

Chemist Direct, Europe’s leading online chemist, have been working with FusePump for several months, using their performance marketing hub and affiliate tools, and integrating their product inventory into several comparison shopping engines. They have also just become the first client to go live on FusePump’s Multi-Channel Marketing Platform (MCMP).

Richard Garrod, Marketing Director at Chemist Direct, is hoping that the MCMP will simplify their online product marketing, which will in turn lead to increased sales.

“Chemist Direct sells tens of thousands of products online, making it quite complicated to know which of our products are performing successfully within each of the online channels and applications we integrate with. The FusePump MCMP makes it easy for us to analyse and compare product performance data – including earnings per click and sales volumes – across all channels, including the affiliate sector. By using the platform we can clearly see if certain products should be optimised for a specific channel, or removed altogether.”

Although Chemist Direct is the first client to begin using FusePump’s new platform, other clients are set to go live in the near future. The platform is available in several languages, including Spanish, German and English, and allows marketers to set their own business rules to exclude non-performing products from the feed. The MCMP also makes it even easier for merchants to integrate their products into online channels, as it offers one-click integration with over 200 technology partners worldwide.
