Demandware says 30 of its clients booked more than $100 million in online sales in 2015, up from 22 a year earlier.
Mandy Cole will help to oversee the merchant’s sales force.
Stella & Dot has hired a LivingSocial veteran as executive vice president of field development. The e-retailer of jewelry and accessories says Mandy Cole will develop its sales force and help to drum up sales in the United States and globally.
LivingSocial, a daily deal operator that competes with Groupon Inc., hired Cole in June 2010. She most recently worked as senior vice president of sales. She also has held sales management positions with financial institution Wells Fargo & Co. and online apartment listing service MyNewPlace.
“Her sales and leadership expertise will add tremendous value to our growing stylist base as we significantly expand product categories and market opportunity in North America and Europe,” says Jessica Herrin, Stella & Dot CEO and founder.
Some 80% of Stella & Dot’s traffic comes from stylists, individuals who throw trunk show parties where they sell Stella & Dot jewelry and accessories to family and friends.
