Intertwine Interactive Welcomes Three Hires

Intertwine offers a comprehensive list of Internet marketing services.

Bret Dennis becomes SEO Manager, Matt Davis is the new Affiliate Manager and Pilar Perez is PR and Social Media Specialist. With the hiring of Bret, Matt and Pilar the trifecta has been set in place, ready to manage and grow our current and potential online marketing client base.

Bret, Matt and Pilar join Intertwine Interactive bringing their vast, individual experiences in their specific channels of expertise. Bret will be managing the SEO channel, working hands-on with clients to improve their organic rankings. Matt will be managing the Affiliate channel, working directly with our affiliate partners to drive traffic and revenue to our client sites. Pilar as the new PR and Social Media Specialist, will be managing our social clients. Her focus will be on providing top-notch strategic plans, developing blogger programs, creating content, and splitting time between full management clients and consulting clients.

Bret has spent the last 3 years working for Hayneedle, the fourth largest home furnishing site on Internet Retailer’s 2012 list of top 500 retail websites. Bret managed a portfolio of approximately 70 niche websites. He conducted site audits to diagnose problems that affected the sites’ overall organic health. He also worked on improving the sites’ architecture, content and backlink profiles and optimized the sites for higher rankings and increased conversion rates. Bret received a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California. “Bret was a great asset at Hayneedle who quickly showed affinity and a passion for SEO, and I know he will be a perfect fit once again at Intertwine, giving our clients the attention and excellent service they expect and deserve,” said Director of SEO Nate Eslinger.

Matt comes to us from ALDI stores where he was a District Manager.  Matt hired, developed and lead a team of over 60 employees.  He managed revenues of $50 million annually.   Matt also worked at The Dude, his own all-inclusive marketing endeavor.  He created, maintained and analyzed marketing campaigns, including various traffic sources such as SEO and PPC.  He drove millions of dollars in revenue for the affiliate portion of his business, aiding his clients in this specific channel.  Matt has a BS in Marketing Management from Missouri State University.  “Matt makes a great addition to our affiliate team. He has years of experience in affiliate marketing and brings a lot of fresh ideas that will help grow our clients' programs. His intelligence, drive, and understanding of the affiliate channel will be great resources for our team as well as our clients,” said Director of Affiliate Andy Stappert.

Pilar previously worked for Bozell, a local full-service advertising agency as PR and Social Media Project Manager. Here she created press releases, media lists and alerts and created social media profiles, plans and content for various clients.  She also held a key position at MECA, Metropolitan and Convention Authority managing the premium seating clients, specializing in customer service and event coordination. Pilar graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Journalism, specializing in public relations and advertising. “Pilar has years of experience in both blogging, PR and social media. She offers high level strategic thinking and creative solutions.  We look forward to Pilar continuing to build on her established track record of delivering successful social media strategies focusing on customer engagement/acquisition,” said VP of Business Development Karissa Tomsen.
