Lengow’s data feed management solution currently integrates with over 900 e-commerce channels worldwide.
Lengow, Saas solution which allows online retailers to quickly and easily index their products catalogue sent across all types of e-commerce channels – comparison shopping sites, marketplaces, affiliate platforms, retargeting and social networks – is launching a new feature to monitor the price of competitor’s product across Marketplaces and Comparison shopping sites.
Lengow’s data feed management solution currently integrates with over 900 e-commerce channels worldwide. We are now happy to announce that we are taking the solution one step further due to the increasing need from online merchants to be more reactive to price fluctuations in the market.
Lengow has integrated the capability to monitor the price of competitor’s products, which retailers can now analyze in real-time and react accordingly by readjusting their price.
The monitoring of competitors’ e-shops is made via URL crawling:
Lengow does not use any information provided by the merchant to track prices. To make it work, merchants place their competitor’s URL in front of their product. Then, a robot picks up all the information of the product description, including the price.
“Running webmarketing campaigns on every ecommerce channel is as important as monitoring competitors’ prices. Lengow now offers both of these tools in a unique SaaS solution. Each e-retailer is able to watch their competitors’ prices and to do the right adjustments on his campaigns according to the results. This way, they only send their products which have the most competitive prices on comparison sites for example”, explains Mickaël Froger, Lengow’s co-founder and CTO.
Created in 2009 by Jérémie Peiro and Mickael Froger, Lengow is an innovative solution which allows e-tailers to optimize their visibility and profitability across any e-commerce channels such as comparison shopping sites, affiliates networks, marketplaces, retargeting sites, sponsored links and social networks. The company employs 50 employees in 3 offices in Nantes, Paris and Montreal and counts more than 900 references. Lengow is a prize winner at the Ecommerce Awards category “International” for its international development. The company also received the Trophy Ecommerce category “Innovation” in last October in Paris. www.lengow.co.uk
