● Sears, No. 8, lets shoppers on its home page check product availability at a local Sears store and tells them they can “Get it today with free store pickup.”
● Neiman Marcus Group, No., 41, offered the home page promotion, “Women’s boot sale, 25% off, online and in stores.”
● Abercrombie & Fitch, No. 45, displayed “All Jeans on Sale in stores and online” above a home-page store locator.
● Crate & Barrel, No. 59, ran a home page banner offering $4.95 shipping or free pickup in store, and, like many other store chains, it also displayed an interactive store locator map.
